Bee hotels to boost Australian bees after the bushfires Description: The Bee Hotels to Boost Australian Bees After the Bushfires project aims to support the recovery of native bee populations affected by recent bushfires in Australia. Led by the Australian Native Bee Association, this initiative focuses on installing artificial nesting substrates, or "bee hotels," which provide safe habitats for solitary bees that have lost their natural nesting sites due to habitat destruction. The project encourages community involvement and citizen science by inviting individuals to help install these bee hotels and monitor bee activity, thereby enhancing local biodiversity and supporting pollinator health in the aftermath of the fires
