Involvement in Evidence Synthesis Advocacy Group Description: A new, independent, cross-organisational group for anyone with experience of, or interest in, involving patients, the public and other interest-holders in evidence synthesis. It advocates for better involvement, offers independent advice to any organisation that asks, retains the knowledge of people whose terms on existing groups have ended, and offers a development pathway for future leaders. It was established by a vote of the Cochrane Patient and Public Involvement Network Executive that closed on 20 October 2026, and the Executive is a named supporter. It is not a Cochrane project, programme or committee, does not carry the Cochrane name and does not speak for Cochrane. Members serve in a personal capacity. Science for All hosts the expression-of-interest form, the data it collects and the group's shared working document, pro bono. This report is prospective: the group has been established in principle, the Terms of Reference are at draft version 0.6, and recruitment has not yet opened.
